Kind Words
“Kelly (SeaWeeds) has done yard work and new construction home cleaning for my company for the past couple years. I've been in construction for 40 years and I have learned how valuable a good subcontractor is to find. Kelly has always responded very quickly to our needs and done awesome work for me. Kelly thinks outside the box and does whatever is needed and then some. She has done some staging on some of our homes' front porches just as a courtesy to help us sell a home. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone that's responsible, honest and does high quality work.”
“Kelly is seriously the best! I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a cleaner. Her attention to detail is incredible and she notices and cleans the little things that most cleaners would probably overlook. She is always willing to go above and beyond and genuinely wants to make sure you are happy with everything (as noted in her arrival, and exit communication/texts). On top of how great she is at what she does, Kelly is such a kind person and is so easy to work with. Her communication is amazing and she makes scheduling so easy, which I really appreciate! My apartment feels like a completely different place after she cleans. Somehow she manages to make it feel and smell like a luxury beachfront house every time. Her selection of cleaning products smells SO good, and I love all of the little extra touches she adds. Even something as simple as folding a blanket neatly and placement of couch pillows makes it feel like she really took the time to make everything feel special. I would recommend Kelly to ANYONE looking for a cleaner. Whether you need a regular maintenance clean, a deep clean, a move out clean, a rental property clean, or anything in between, you will not be disappointed. She does an amazing job, genuinely cares about her work, and goes above and beyond every single time. 10/10 recommend Kelly! 💕✨”
“We used SeaWeeds for some interior cleaning and were happy with the results and the people we worked with. Would recommend.”
“Super grateful for SeaWeeds. It was summer, and our business and family life were going full speed. We just didn't have the time to keep up with our lawn. I know our yard was a challenge at first, but they spent long hard hours tackling it all for us, and they have kept it maintained well ever since. Would highly recommend them for any of your mowing needs. They are kind and lovely people, and we're glad to have met them. Will use them for years to come!”
“Excellent work! They were responsive, so adaptable and made our lawn and landscape beds look great! Highly recommend them for anyone needing Class 1 yard work!”
“Kelly was wonderful to work with and we highly recommend her for your real estate needs. Kelly reached out to us offering her services when we had our house listed for sale by owner. After 2 months of gentle persistence we made the decision to list our house with her and within 17 days we had two offers! Kelly did not pressure us while we had our property listed FSBO, she would just check in with us to offer help if we needed it. We had already interviewed two other Realtors® in case we decided to list it with a Realtor® but Kelly stood out to us because she was able to recognize the things that were so special about our property without us having to tell her! Kelly is kind, honest, and has great communication, negotiating, and marketing skills. She was always very prompt at responding to our questions and kept us informed as to what was going on at all times. Kelly truly cares about her clients and after working with her we also found a new friendship!”
From Our Table to Yours
As the air turns crisp, we lean into slow, soulful cooking. This autumn we are sharing a beloved classic to warm your table.

Chicken braised with bacon, carrots, onions, garlic, red wine, and Cognac until rich and deeply flavorful. The kind of one-pot supper that fills the house with warmth.
Crisp the bacon. In a large Dutch oven, cook the bacon over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
Brown the chicken. Pat the chicken dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Brown in batches in the bacon fat, about 5 minutes per side, until nicely browned. Remove and set aside.
Sauté the vegetables. Add the carrots, sliced onion, thyme, and a pinch of salt. Cook 10 minutes, until the onions are lightly browned. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute more.
Deglaze and simmer. Add the Cognac, then carefully ignite with a long match to burn off the alcohol (optional). Add the wine, chicken stock, tomato paste, and bacon. Bring to a simmer, return the chicken to the pot, cover, and simmer gently 30 to 40 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
Finish the sauce. Mash the butter and flour into a paste (beurre manié). Stir into the sauce and simmer uncovered 10 minutes, until slightly thickened.
Add mushrooms and onions. In a separate pan, sauté the mushrooms and small onions in a bit of butter until golden and tender, about 10 minutes. Add to the stew and simmer 5 minutes more.
Serve. Taste for seasoning and serve hot, sprinkled with fresh thyme or parsley, alongside mashed potatoes or crusty bread.
